flack (i.e. name-calling) from members of my own church body for the
direction of my vote, about which I have been intentionally quiet, I

I think it's incredibly lame for people to criticize how you are voting. I usually avoid political discussions for that very reason...Anyway, I enjoyed reading the link. A great perspective!
